Usual enough

Usual Enough

(Original by James.K.Baxter)

The town was usual enough: It had a junk shop, a gas station, a cafe, a river running through it and even an old rundown museum I never went to. My friends, their dogs and I did what kids do: Adventured through the dense bush, dreamed up imaginary creatures to befriend and explore with, dodged the dozing parents as we snuck through the circle of tents with our paper bags erupting with sugar coated sweets, kayaked or swam- Doing nothing important.
