Art with Jo
Last Tuesday, Jo came into room 11 to further teach us about using pastel, shading, finding basic shapes on faces and face proportions (for animals). The first step to draw our lions, was to draw a rough construction lines. Next we started to draw basic shapes, a circle for the head and an oval for the mouth area. Once we had drawn the eyes, nose and mouth we started to use light pastel and shaded under the eyes. We added other details and moved onto the lion's mane. Overall Jo was fun to work with and I enjoyed the morning doing art.
